Kangaroo Island Bushfire Recovery Golf Event

Let’s support our fellow Kangaroo Island golfers by assisting with their recovery towards normality following the islands devastating summer of bushfires.

Two  Day Social Competition of a Mixed Golf Event with donation towards Parndana Golf Club

Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd May 2020

 

Day 1 - Kingscote Golf Club – Stableford

Commence with a sausage sizzle

1200 hrs shotgun start

Drinks and nibbles at the 19th Hole

Dinner at Kingscote Golf Club (Catered by Lucy’s Kitchen – Smorgasbord x 2 course) @ 1800hrs

 

Day 2 - Penneshaw Golf Club – Mixed Ambrose

0830 hrs shotgun start

Morning tea, as you pass the Club House

 Lunch at Dudley Wines Cellar Door (Platters and Pizzas) @ 1330 hrs

Cost $120 per person for golf – this includes Green fees x 2, sausage sizzle, x 1 morning tea, 1 dinner and 1 lunch and a donation

Getting to Kangaroo Island by Ferry

there are two options of travel from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw, please find the following fares and options available – Please make your own arrangements. ‘Book Them Out’ deal ends on 29th February 2020

Option 1.  KI Connect (Luxury passenger ferry only taking 30 minutes) – travel without your car and hire a Mitsubishi SUV x 2 days = $99/ day + $25/person ferry travel - rate valid until the end of February and you must travel by the end of June, otherwise a normal ferry rate is $50/person return

Option 2.  KI Sealink (45 minute travel)– travel with your own car = $198/car + $30/person ferry travel- rate valid until the end of February and you must travel by the end of June, otherwise a normal ferry rate is $98/person return or there are other concessions available ie: Pension concession $80/person or Entertainment book voucher 25% discount.

Accommodation – there is are plenty of options for accommodation and there are various places you can stay but it is recommended to stay in Kingscote for this event (the choice is yours) at any of the following. Please book as required.

Villas at the Bay, The Ozone Hotel, Seaside Inn, Seaview Hotel or Brownlow Caravan Park – Cabins available

Or there are numerous self-contained Holiday homes where you may wish to share with friends.
